December 2010

It has been a productive few months here at Reach Out.. We are moving forward with zoning; we were able to secure many signatures in support of a loading zone out front of the center, which will aid us in securing the zoning - Special Use! We also received 2 letters of support! We are actively pursing monies for capital improvement.

Thank you to all of you who came out on the blustery Chicago night to the mini fundraiser at francanellos!!

We had about 45 people come out and support us!  Lots of new faces too!   We raised profit $1000.. so thank you!!!

We had a great group of Baseball youth from Oak lawn come out and help us rip up floors on Saturday March 27 Thanks Guys!!!!

• Dorothy won Lakeside Bank's Woman Who Make a Difference Award 2009
• Volunteers from Lakeside Bank came to Reach Out to help rip up some floors, and clean up debris!

We found a location for the community center!

In late June 2009, we purchased a building at:

Now we start the long process of renovations!
